More states seek to avoid protecting military voters

Alaska, Maryland and the Virgin Islands have joined Hawaii, New York, Delaware and Washington as states trying to waive out of protecting military voters.  As I said in my piece at Pajamas Media on the subject:

"And the DOJ should respond with overwhelming force when signs appear that states aren’t ready to comply with the new federal 45-day mailing mandate. Requests for waivers from the 45-day mandate should be denied. In fact, requests for waivers should trigger a DOJ investigation. We owe these heroes no less."

Fox News discovered the additional states seeking waivers after ElectionLawCenter.com first reported Hawaii, New York, Delaware and Washington sought to escape the new federal law protecting military voters.  Officials at the Pentagon were unwilling to tell ElectionLawCenter.com the names of the additional states seeking to escape the new federal law.
