WV County Hurries to Clean Rolls After Judicial Watch Notice

Lincoln County (WV) is one of the notice targets of a joint project between me and Judicial Watch to enforce Section 8 of the National Voter Registration Act given that this Justice Department refuses to do so.

States and counties across the United States are receiving notices under NVRA that they may be sued if the voter rolls are not cleaned up by November.  Lincoln County (WV) was a place with more voters on the rolls than people alive, and a recent history of voter fraud convictions involving phony absentee ballots.  In fact, this part of West Virginia has long had a voter fraud problem, aided by corrupted voter rolls.

It looks like they got the message.  In a county commission meeting yesterday (photo above) the board voted to support the swift cleanup of the voter rolls.  This is a good start to the nationwide project.  Lincoln Journal: "Commission Responds to Threatened Lawsuit."
