Today Eric Holder, Before Malik Zulu Shabazz

Today Attorney General was the guest of Al Sharpton's National Action Network.  A few years ago, Sharpton's National Action Network hosted another familiar guest speaker.

Quinn Hillyer has this piece Holder is a Disgrace.... and a Very Bad Man at the American Spectator about Holder's appearance and Matt Boyle has this report on many of the surprising statements by an Attorney General of the United States at the Al Sharpton National Action Network event.

Another guest of a National Action Network event was New Black Panther President Malik Zulu Shabazz, one of the defendants dismissed from the voter intimidation case by Holder's DOJ.  As I wrote in my book Injustice of the November 2007 event: "Later that month, Shabazz addressed a large lunchtime crowd in downtown Washington, D.C., at an Al Sharpton rally ostensibly aimed against hate crimes. Shabazz led hundreds of federal workers and other seemingly mainstream D.C. residents in chants of “Black Power!” replete with raised black power fists."  See the video of the rally below.
